Collaboration between the Ontario French-language health networks, the FIN of Ontario, and other partners from the francophone settlement sector to improve tools and trainings used in the health sector by identifying emerging needs with respect to newcomers.

Summary of activity
Organizing consultations to mobilize knowledge about the health needs of newcomers and identify the priority issues in Ontario. These consultations specifically focus on updating the following tools and trainings: OZi, Active Offer, Health Human Resources Strategy and eQUITY Link. They are designed to consolidate expertise and strengthen collaboration between key partners in francophone immigration and health.
Desired outcomes
Settlement professionals are able to identify and mobilize the appropriate partners and resources in order to help their clients integrate tools and trainings. This collaboration will prevent situations arising from lack of familiarity with the health system or from the specific realities of francophone immigrants not being sufficiently considered.

- Summary promoting the SIF Ontario project and the results of the study conducted in 2021
- SIF PowerPoint presentations for members of the SIF Ontario advisory committee
